Hartnell & NMCUSD Unite
It was good to meet with Michael Gutierrez, the new president of Hartnell College. He was very interested in our ongoing partnership with Hartnell College, the work we have done with our NMC Community Alliance focusing on Cradle to Career in partnership with many organizations, and our growing Dual Enrollment program for high school students. We also discussed the joint partnership in using the new Castroville Hartnell College Center to provide fully equipped advanced Science classroom space for our high school students as well as our adult education program classes, especially those classes offering Early Childhood Education units. We will continue to meet and look for ways to encourage our students, families, and community members to enroll in Hartnell classes.
